1. About Charchaki
Charchaki is a cab booking service based in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra, India. We provide outstation cab bookings, airport transfers, local hourly rentals, corporate travel, and tour packages across Maharashtra and Pan-India.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message or call from our team via WhatsApp or phone.
- Submitting a booking form or enquiry on our website does not constitute a confirmed booking until acknowledged by our team.
- Prices quoted are indicative. The final fare is confirmed at the time of booking confirmation.
- Charchaki reserves the right to decline a booking at its discretion.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All quoted fares include the driver's charges, fuel, and applicable road tolls unless stated otherwise.
- Parking charges, state border taxes (if applicable), and night allowance (for rides between 11 PM – 6 AM) may be charged separately.
- Payment can be made by cash to the driver, or by UPI/bank transfer as agreed at the time of booking.
- No advance payment is required for standard bookings; advance booking fees may apply for premium or long-distance routes.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before trip: Full cancellation, no charges.
- Cancellation between 12–24 hours before trip: 25% of the booked fare may be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellation less than 12 hours before trip: Up to 50% of the booked fare may be charged.
- No-show: 100% of the booked fare will be charged if the passenger fails to show up without prior cancellation.
- Charchaki reserves the right to cancel a booking due to vehicle unavailability, driver emergency, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, no charges will be levied.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must be ready at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time.
- The passenger is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the trip.
- Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or carrying prohibited substances in the vehicle is strictly not allowed.
- Passengers must wear seat belts at all times as required by law.
- The number of passengers must not exceed the seating capacity of the booked vehicle.
6. Driver & Vehicle
- Charchaki assigns drivers based on availability. We reserve the right to substitute a driver or vehicle of equal or higher category without prior notice.
- Our drivers are background-verified, licensed, and experienced. However, Charchaki is not liable for accidents or incidents resulting from third-party negligence.
- If a passenger has concerns about driver behaviour, they must contact Charchaki immediately at +91 97979 77701.
7. Waiting & Delays
- A grace waiting period of 10 minutes is provided at the pickup point. Waiting charges may apply beyond this at ₹2/minute (for cars) and ₹3/minute (for SUVs/buses).
- In the case of flight delays for airport pickups, the driver will wait based on real-time flight information. No additional waiting charges apply for flight-delayed pickups if informed in advance.
- Charchaki is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or acts of nature.
8. Luggage
- Standard luggage allowance: 1 bag per passenger (not exceeding the boot capacity of the vehicle).
- For large amounts of luggage or oversized items, please inform us at the time of booking so we can assign an appropriate vehicle.
9. Tour Packages
- Tour package prices are indicative and based on a standard itinerary. Custom itineraries may attract different pricing.
- Tour packages include cab, driver, fuel, and applicable tolls. Hotel, food, guide fees, and entry tickets are not included unless explicitly stated.
- Tour itineraries may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, or temple/attraction timings.
10. Limitation of Liability
Charchaki's liability in any event shall not exceed the total fare paid for the specific booking in question. We are not liable for:
- Missed flights, trains, or events due to traffic delays
- Loss, theft, or damage to passenger belongings
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any nature
11. Force Majeure
Charchaki shall not be held responsible for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government orders, civil unrest, or vehicle breakdowns.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
13. Changes to Terms
Charchaki reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
